Frisco, the center of it all! Even as we look back in history, Frisco has always been close to everything. With a population of 2,500 in the late 1800s, Frisco reported a whopping 20 Saloons and 19 dancehalls. After all of the fur trappers and miners disbursed, Frisco’s population hit a low of less than 20 before climbing back up to 2,500. While Frisco’s population is about the same today as in the late 1800s, Frisco Real Estate has certainly grown. Frisco’s amenities have expanded to include Frisco homes and mountain real estate yet a few of those old Saloons are still around too.

Frisco holds many events throughout the summer and the winter. The town hosts the Colorado BBQ Challenge, where Main Street is closed for fun, food, friends, and family. On July 4th, Frisco puts on the Summit County’s biggest parade followed by music and fireworks over Lake Dillon. Other events include Music on Main, Tour de Fat, and a mountain style Octoberfest. In addition to family activities, Frisco is also host to many countywide services including a new hospital/medical center, The County Commons, The Senior Center, the DMV office, county government offices, and a large library.
Though Frisco is definitely a beautiful western town, it is just one of many wonderful areas the county has to offer. Some other Summit County towns that boast incredible skiing, real estate, and mountain activities include Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain. Many families purchase their dream home in Frisco knowing they are just a short drive from several ski resorts including Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Loveland.
