In this video Kate Marrone, Broker on the Barr Team, gives you a brief review of what the 2018 Summit County real estate market looked like.
It is February 2019 and we are taking a look back at the stats from the 2018 year. The average sales price for a residential property in Summit County was $770,000 in 2018. This is up about 10% from 2017. This 10% increase is consistent with the price increases we have seen over the past few years.
Looking back at the last peak of our market, which was in the summer of 2008, all areas of the market have sales prices that are higher or equal to the sales prices seen in 2008. Most of the current market today has surpassed those 2008 prices.
