Summit County Residential Sales Up 11%!
In this update along with the above video one can learn a little bit about What’s Happening by Area, Town and by Price Range for Summit County residential real estate sales so far this year.
Interesting: The $500,000 to $1,000,000 sales are really kicking off the year with a very strong improvement in sales. The 49% improvement for the North Side in this price range corresponds to 22 additional properties selling in the $500k to $1m range. And the 28% improvement in the South Side of the county for the over $1,000,000 sales corresponds to 8 additional sales in that price range. The trend is in place and it will be interesting to see how this trend continues as the county proceeds into the next part of a typical selling year – the gearing up for the peak sales later this summer.
Overall sales are positive with some rather large gains in Frisco, Dillon, Keystone and Silverthorne and modest losses in Breckenridge to big changes in the Copper Mountain area. This is a trend that is starting to gain some traction as it has been in place for a couple months now.
With that said, we still have the peak part of our typical selling year ahead in 2015.
In addition, the pending activity is still ahead of last year with all the areas represented with big numbers or small numbers as with Copper. The appearance is that the pending will continue the sales trend so far, except that the Breckenridge area stands to improve with a very large chunk of pending properties in the Breckenridge area.
