What’s selling, where and for how much!

The video says it all or all that has happened for the first half of 2015. Sales continue to be brisk and Summit County real estate prices continue to rise.

Inventory is down: As of June 30th the current number of residential properties being offered for sale in Summit County dropped to -26%. Sales are up about 19% and pending sales are up about 16%.

Interesting: The number of  properties under contract are up in Summit County and what is interesting is that 30% of what is under contract is new construction spread throughout the county. Double Interesting is that the average list price of that 30% pending new construction is just over $1,100,000. Compare that to the average sold price by town in the video above…very interesting stuff.

“STUFF TO DO IN SUMMIT” Video:

Wanted to let you know some of the great summer events that are going on in Summit County. Coming here mid July – this coming weekend – we have the Wine & Jazz fest at Keystone Resort – always a fabulous time! Towards the end of this month, Dillon has the Dillon Open Regatta, which is the highest elevation sailing regatta held in the country. Definitely some challenging sailing up here with our mountain winds. Also in late July, in Breckenridge there is a Main Street Art Festival as well as a Wine Festival in Breck, too. Mid month in August, Copper Mountain hosts the Warrior Dash, a fun event for a great cause over there in Copper.

Then about the 3rd week in August is the Pro Cycling Challenge up here in Summit County!  We’re honored to host 3 different stages this year, which I believe is the most presence of any of the mountain communities. Stage 2 finishes at A-Basin, Stage 3 begins at Copper Mountain and Stage 4’s finish is in Breckenridge! It will be an exciting time to be in the county with lots of fun events and an exciting race to watch!

Hope to see you up here for these or other exciting summer events!
